Gamochaeta
calviceps is an uncommon annual weed up to about 25 cm tall. It
usually has several flowering branches arising from the base. The
distinctive features are the inflorescence (usually with many
clusters of heads arranged in a loose erect spike), and the leaves
which are woolly on both surfaces
