Leptorhynchos elongatus  (Asteraceae) 2:323

Leptorhynchos elongatus  (Billy Buttons) is a rare native herb species in Tasmania found in a few grasslands of the Midlands and Central Plateau. It has erect stems with yellow, button-like heads. The leaves are widest above the middle and somewhat hairy. The flower heads are larger than those of the other species of Leptorhynchos in Tasmania.
