Sagina (Caryophyllaceae) 1:73  
Tasmania has two native and three introduced species of Sagina (Pearlworts). These are all small low growing herbs, with narrow, pointed leaves. They are often tufted, but not into dense cushions. The petals are (in the Tasmanian species) either completely absent or minute.
