Sagina apetala (Caryophyllaceae) 1:73

Sagina apetala (Annual Pearlwort) is a widespread and common weed species found in wet places. It is an erect annual that (unlike S. procumbens) never roots at the nodes. The leaves are narrow and taper to a short hair point. The flowers are small, with greenish sepals and no petals.
