CRASSULACEAE 1:183

This family is represented in the Tasmanian flora by a few native species of Crassula and some introduced species of Crassula and Sedum. Most species have succulent leaves and occur in dry areas. Crassula helmsii is an aquatic.

Cotyledon orbiculare is a large and common garden plant with large, circular, succulent leaves and red, pendulous, tubular flowers (see picture on right). It is a common garden plant that appears to have escaped a few times.
