| Like many
other Hibbertia species, Hibbertia obtusifolia is a small
low growing plant with conspicuous yellow flowers and flat or almost
flat, narrow leaves 1-3cm long. It is very rare
(possibly extinct) and was only found on Clarke Island (although it
also occurs in Victoria). The flowers have numerous stamens.
