| Hibbertia
rufa is a small, low growing shrub with pubescent branches and
sessile, bright yellow flowers. This very rare native species is
found in the North East of Tasmania. The distinctive feature is the
leaves ending in a tuft of hairs. It was thought extinct in Tasmania
until rediscovery in late in 2008. |
