Bauera (Cunoniaceae) 1:180

Tasmania has one species of Bauera. Bauera rubioides is a common native species that can form dense thickets. It grows in a wide range of well watered open habitats and has trifoliate leaves with sessile leaflets. As a result it appears to have whorled leaves. It flowers profusely. Both pink and white flowered forms are common.
