has two species of Astroloma. A. pinifolia is a
reasonably common, small upright shrub with very narrow, spreading
leaves, giving a crude resemblance to a pine seedling. The flowers are
quite long and yellow. A. humifusum is almost ubiquitous in
dry sclerophyll forests and grassy woodlands. It is a low, spreading
shrub with slightly broader leaves and red flowers. The leaves have
fine hairs along the margins. |
