Trochocarpa (Ericaceae) 2:430

Tasmania has four species of the mainly rainforest genus, Trochocarpa. T. gunnii is a widespread rainforest understorey species 6-10 mm long. T. cunninghamii is a montane forest and woodland species that is similar to T. gunnii, but is a small straggling shrub instead of an upright shrub. T. disticha is restricted to the far south-east, and resemble T. cunninghamii except that it is considerably larger in all aspects. It has larger leaves than T. gunnii. T. thymifolia is a widespread alpine/subalpine erect shrub. The leaves are only 2-4 mm long.
