Epacris grandis (Ericaceae) not in the Student's
Flora
|
|
Epacris grandis
is a rare shrub that only grows in or near the Douglas Appsley
National Park, near the east coast. It is a tall, erect shrub that
grows in dry sclerophyll woodland. The flowers are in long
"spikes" along the stems (not really spikes, because each
flower has a leaf at its base). The sepals are distinctly hairy.
