Pentachondra
involucrata is a distinctive, medium sized shrub that
grows in heathy woodlands in relatively wet areas of southern and
eastern Tasmania. It is not common but is quite widespread. The
leaves are about 1-2cm long and have obvious fringes of hairs, and
the flowers are quite large, white and have densely hairy corolla
lobes.
