Pentachondra involucrata is a distinctive, medium sized shrub that grows in heathy woodlands in relatively wet areas of southern and eastern Tasmania. It is not common but is quite widespread. The leaves are about 1-2cm long and have obvious fringes of hairs, and the flowers are quite large, white and have densely hairy corolla lobes.
