Pentachondra pumila (Ericaceae) 2:429
|
|
Pentachondra
pumila is a common alpine plant. It forms mats that are often
covered in small white flowers and red fruit. It is sometimes
confused with Cyathodes
dealbata, which has a similar habit. However the undersides
of the leaves of Cyathodes have obvious white stripes,
whereas those of Pentachondra are green.
