Tasmania has
three native species of Daviesia. All species are common
medium sized shrubs in dry woodlands. D. ulicifolia (Native
Gorse) and D. sejugata have obviously spiny leaves and branches. D.
latifolia has large round, irregularly shaped leaves
that could be interpreted as phyllodes.
