  Glycine (Fabaceae) 1:168
Tasmania has three native species of Glycine. Glycine clandestina is reasonably common climbing plant with elongate leaflets. The other two species are rare east coast species. G. latrobeana has clover-like leaves. G. microphylla has small, somewhat elongated leaflets and is a climber. Distinctive features of the Tasmanian species include the backward directed hairs on the stems and the stipules. Glycine is a worldwide genus that includes soy beans.
