Students Flora |
| Tasmania has
one native species of Mirbelia (M. oxylobioides). This is a
rare, erect shrub with small, opposite (occasionally in whorls of
three), convex leaves. It flowers profusely in spring, with
orange-yellow flowers considerably larger than the leaves. In Tasmania it
is only known from some sandstone scarps north of Hobart. |
