Sphaerolobium (Fabaceae ) 1:135 |
|
|
Tasmania has
two native species of Sphaerolobium. These are spindly,
leafless shrubs of grasslands and heaths. The more widespread and
common species is S. minus (which is not in the Students
Flora), whereas S. vimineum is a rare plant from the
north-east. The sepals of S. minus are black, whereas those
of S. vimineum are green with small black spots.
