| Vicia
tetrasperma (Slender Vetch) is a widespread and common weed
species. It is a climber with distinctly slender stems and small
leaves (leaflets only a couple of mm wide). The leaves are very
variable in size and number of leaflets. The stems are angular. The
flowers are smallish (petals about 5-8mm long). It can be confused
with the Tiny Vetch (V. hirsuta), which is also common but has
smaller flowers. |
