Lobed and unlobed leaves

For this key, a lobed leaf is usually divided to at least 1/3 of the distance from the leaf margin to the midrib. We include hastate leaves (i.e. with a lobe at either side of the base of the lamina) as entire. Some other authors use different definitions of lobes.
