Centaurium (Gentianaceae) 3:479
Tasmania has two introduced species of Centaurium. Both are small, erect weeds  Centaurium erythraea is a very common and widespread weed.  They are erect plants with opposite leaves, and flowers with long tubes. The flowers are in leafy, terminal cymes.

Schenkia australis was previously known as C. spicatum.
