Gonocarpus teucrioides is a common native herb. It
is widespread and abundant in the understorey of forests. It is an
erect perennial 20-35cm tall. The stems are 4-angled in cross section.
The leaves are opposite, ovate about 7-22mm long and 3-13mm wide. Both
the leaves and stems have stiff, spreading hairs. One
distinctive feature is the green, leafy bracts in the inflorescence. |
