Scutellaria (Lamiaceae) 3:549
Scutellaria humilis is a small, rare, erect native herb that is found in a few places in the north and east of the state. It is rather hairy, with short hairs that are bent up along the stems. The stems are distinctly square. The leaves are opposite and approximately 1 cm long. They are ovate with coarse, blunt teeth. The flowers are widely spread along the upper part of the stems, with a small leaf beneath each flower.
