The Gymnomitriaceae is family of very minute leafy liverworts
represented by approximately 5 genera and 6 species in Tasmania.
These are usually species in alpine to subalpine habitats A
key to the genera and species of the Tasmanian Gymnomitriaceae is
being developed.
