Dicranoloma diaphanoneuron grows as short (c.3.0cm) turfs on rocks, logs and
trees in wet forest and rainforest.
D. diaphanoneuron is known only from an old and possibly
mislabeled collection. The precise distribution of D.
diaphanoneuron in Tasmania is therefore unknown.
