Two
species of honeysuckle has become naturalised in Tasmania. Lonicera
periclymenum and L. japonica are climbing garden species that
has become established in native vegetation, especially in and near
urban areas. The both have ovate or elliptical leaves about 3-7 cm long.
The corollas form yellow/pinkish tubes about 2-4 cm long, which are
split into two lips. The upper lip is large and has four lobes.
