Two species of
Lysimachia has become naturalised in Tasmania. Pimpernel (L.
arvensis; formerly known as Anagallis arvensis). Creeping Jenny
(L. nummularia) is a reasonably common weed in wet places,
such as river banks and flood plains. Its yellow flowers and
creeping stems with round leaves about 2cm wide makes this an
obvious plant. |
