Exocarpos cupressiformis (Santalaceae) 3:628

Exocarpos cupressiformis (Native Cherry) is a common and widespread species found in dry areas. It  is a distinctive, erect, leafless shrub or small tree. It often has a conical (conifer-like) shape and is usually golden brown in colour. The fruit are have conspicuous, red and edible fleshy section below the "seed".
