Urtica incisa (Urticaceae) 3:639

Urtica incisa (Native Stinging Nettle) is a widespread and common native perennial herb. It occurs in moist shady places, especially in more fertile parts of Tasmania and is commonly seen after episodes of disturbance.

Like its introduced relative, U. urens, it is covered in stinging hairs, but has long, usually narrow leaves and flowers in elongate, spike-like inflorescences.
