Deyeuxia (Poaceae) 4b:264 |
|
|
|
Tasmania has
fifteen native species of Deyeuxia. These tufted perennial
species from a range of habitats (often in open forest, but also
extending into the alpine zone). The inflorescence is a
panicle, and the spikelets are distinctly flattened and have only
one floret. The floret is often bearded at the base and often has an
awn placed on the back of the lemma (not the apex). |
