| Hainardia
cylindrica is a bluish annual weed found on the Furneaux Group
and a few other areas. It is a moderate sized plant (up to 35 cm).
The inflorescence is a rigid, erect spike of spikelets, with the
spikelets clearly embedded in the axis of the spike. One distinctive
feature is that the spikelets have only one glume. |
