Sclerochloa
dura is an uncommon weed species in Tasmania, of disturbed
areas. It is a smallish, tufted annual with soft, flat leaves. The
inflorescence is short (scarcely reaching past the leaves), and is a
dense panicle of spikelets. The spikelets are up to 1cm long, and
have 2-8 flowers. The lemmas and glumes are blunt. |
