Ranunculus
collicola
is a rare native alpine species that grows in very wet places
(river banks and soaks) on the Central Plateau near Lake Augusta. The plant forms
small rosettes that are joined by stolons. The leaves often have
longish petioles (to 15cm) and the blades are divided into three narrow
lobes, which are usually entire. The flowers are golden yellow
and less than 10 mm wide.
