Ranunculus diminutus (Ranunculaceae) not in the Student's Flora

Ranunculus diminutus is an uncommon native species that grows on seasonally wet clay soils. It is a small perennial plant with rosettes of leaves connected by stolons. The leaves are 1-2cm wide, trifoliate with quite narrow lobes. The flowers are usually solitary on the flower stalks, glossy yellow and only about 1cm wide.
