Pomaderris intermedia (formerly known as P. affinis; Rhamnaceae) not in the Students Flora

Pomaderris intermedia is an uncommon shrub that grows in dry and wet sclerophyll forests. It is one of a group of very similar species. The others are P. elliptica and P. racemosa, which lack the long simple hairs on the lower leaf surface, and P. pilifera, in  which the simple hairs only occur on the veins. All of these species also have dense covering of stellate hairs on the stems and lower leaf surfaces.
