Boronia
is one of the more diverse genera in the native Australian flora. In
Tasmania there are eleven species. These all occur in heathy
vegetation, but range from alpine areas (e.g. B. citriodora
and B. rhomboidea) to dry heaths (e.g. B. pilosa). The
leaves are opposite, aromatic and often pinnate. The flowers have
four, free petals that are white or pinkish. |
