SCROPHULARIACEAE 3:510
The Scrophulariaceae is a reasonably common family in Tasmania and includes a range of native and introduced shrubs and herbs. It is characterised by a four or five lobed, fused corolla, which is asymmetrical (although scarcely so in a few groups such as Veronica), and has stamens attached to the base of the tube. Chionohebe ciliolata is a rare cushion plant found on Ben Lomond.

The family is likely to be split into two or three groups in the near future.
