Antirrhinum (Scrophulariaceae) not in the Student's Flora

Antirrhinum majus (Snapdragons) is a commonly grown garden herb with conspicuous flowers. It originated in Europe, and occasionally appears on roadsides and other disturbed areas. The name snapdragon comes from the way that the flower will snap open when pressed from side to side.
