Tasmania has
one native species of Damasonium (Damasonium minus). This is a rooted aquatic
with leaves on long petioles. The leaf laminas have 3-5 parallel
main veins, are quite broad (~5cm by ~2cm), and often float on top
of the water. The flowers are small, white on the inside and carried
in a widely branched inflorescence that stands above the water. |
