| Tasmania has
seven native species in three genera of the family Dennstaedtiaceae.
They have multiply compound leaves and are ground ferns that mostly
occur in the understorey of forests. The family includes bracken (Pteridium
esculentum), and some very common disturbance plants in wet
forests, as well as some true rainforest species. |
