Crepidomanes venosum (formerly known as Polyphlebum venosum;
Hymenophyllaceae |

Crepidomanes
venosum is the only member of this genus in Tasmania. It is a common native rainforest epiphyte. Like all filmy
ferns, the leaf laminas are only one cell thick, but in this species
the lobes are multi-veined. The sporangia are in a cylindrical tube
with a protruding, hair-like structure. |
