Ctenopteris heterophylla (Grammitidaceae) |
|
Ctenopteris
heterophylla (gypsy fern) is the only member of this genus in
Tasmania. It is a common and widespread native fern
that grows on rocks, logs and as an epiphyte in rainforest, wet
sclerophyll forest and sheltered sites in dry forest. The leaves are
quite thick, irregularly pinnately lobed with narrow lobes (usually
a few mm wide) and dull green. |
