Freesia (Iridaceae) 4b:416

Freesia hybrid (F. alba x F. leichtlinii) is a garden plant that has become an uncommon weed in Tasmania.  Like many irises it is a tufted plant, with the stems flattened and the leaves in two rows. The flowers are white or cream, about 3 cm long. The leaves can be up to 40cm long.
