Burchardia
umbellata (milkmaids) is moderately common native species that
grows in heaths, grassland and dry open forest. The plant has a one
or two very narrow leaves (about 20cm long) growing from the erect
stem. The flowers are white, quite small and in a terminal umbel.
The plant has a corm covered in papery scales. |
