Cabbage Tree (Cordyline australis) has become naturalised in Tasmania.
It is an unmistakeable plant - it is a small tree with bare trunks,
usually with a few branches. Each branch ends in a tuft of large
(often ~0.5-1 m long, ~10 cm wide), parallel-veined leaves. The
leaves are broadest near the middle. |
