Laxmannia (Laxmanniaceae [formerly part of Liliaceae]) 4b:388    
Laxmannia orientalis is a reasonably common and widespread species of open vegetation ranging from the coast to moderate altitudes. The leaves are occur in clusters along the wiry stem and are up to 4cm long. The inflorescence has only a few flowers, which are brown and quite inconspicuous.
