Thysanotus (Laxmanniaceae [formerly part of Liliaceae]) 4b:389  
Thysanotus patersonii is a reasonable common native species of open vegetation of north-eastern Tasmania and the midlands. It is a slender, usually leafless twiner with smallish but conspicuous blue flowers. The margins of the petals have conspicuous fringes.
