Prasophyllum (Orchidaceae) 4a:67
Prasophyllum (Leek Orchids) is one of the largest of Tasmania's genera of orchids, with 32 species currently recognised.

The plants have a single cylindrical leaf and an erect stem bearing several to many flowers. The individual flowers are fairly small and inconspicuous, but many-flowered plants can be quite showy.

This genus is sometimes confused with Microtis, but tends to be larger, and the flowers are inverted.
