| Sarcochilus
australis (Gunn's Tree Orchid) is a Tasmania's only epiphytic
orchid. It is a rare species found in wet sclerophyll forests near
the the east and north coasts. It has several flat leaves up to 80
mm long that are attached to a stem that clasps the trunk of its
host. The flowers yellow green with conspicuous white labella. |
