The research covers a diverse area of disciplines, diseases
and host species. The main focus is Amoebic Gill Disease
(AGD) which affects salmon industry in Tasmania. Currently,
epidemiology and pathology of the disease are studied. Other
aquatic animal health research includes fish immunology,
pathophysiology, parasitology and aquatic toxicology.
