Your experience as a PhD student will be a challenging one from the day you start to the day you receive the title of Dr. Each one of you will pursuing this program for slightly different reasons, however the suite of skills and the experience you have here should be rewarding and, for many of you, personally revealing.

Part of the key to successfully completing this program of study is to be informed and know where to get information. Below are some links to useful resources available within the NCMCRS, the University, and outside.

The NCMCRS Graduate Research Coordinator (Dr Natalie Moltschaniwskyj) is a useful port of call and is able to assist in a range of matters related to your candidature.

National Center for Marine Conservation & Resource Sustainability Graduate Research Handbook - this handbook will provide details of operational issues throughout your candidature, including your research proposal and submitting the thesis, as well as activities in the NCMCRS.

University Graduate Research Resources - this University web site contains all the paperwork, forms, handbooks, and information about graduate skill workshops that you will need.

STAR (Skills to Advance Your Research)- is a web-based resource which has
been designed to support postgraduate research students
